For the 2025–2026 club volleyball season, Houston Stars will have an EARLY TRYOUT for any player currently in high school or entering high school (entering 9th,10th,11th,12th grades).   ANY current and future high school player can register for the Early Tryout even if they can make the regular tryout on July 7 (16s—12:00-3:00, & 15s—-4:00-7:00).   In many cases, team positions will be offered at the Early Tryout.  Should the Stars staff decide that a player at the Early Tryout would benefit from more time to train and come back and try out again on July 7, that discussion will be had on an individual basis.

We have become very aware that our current and entering high school players may have summer workouts, college camps & clinics, family vacations, summer school, and/or many other things they are possibly a part of and are involved with, so the June 24th Early Tryout was added should it be more convenient for a current and potential Houston Star!
