Girls Volleyball

Houston Stars enters our 9th season hosting girls volleyball in the Houston area.  We have seen tremendous growth every year from our first year as a 6 team club with 56 players to a boys and girls club of 35 teams and almost 400 student/athletes.
THIS YEAR WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT OUR NEW LOCATION, KATY STARS.  LEARN MORE HERE.

The expansion to Katy brings the Stars family to 36 teams total with girls teams in two locations in addition to boys volleyball and mini-club teams.  While our club has exceeded 400 athletes in the greater Houston area, we value each individual athlete and their family and are proud to call them part of the Stars family.

About Our Program

Training Methodology

At Houston Stars we believe in our training and methods.  We constantly evaluate the best practices for training and coaching and are constantly striving to improve in how we develop ALL our athletes.  We employ a wide range of coaches from many diverse backgrounds.  We have experience in coaching youth and developmental players all the way through Olympic, National and International programs.  We believe that a solid fundamental foundation will help athletes to excel quickly in the sport of volleyball and use simple, bio-mechanically training elements to produce complex results.

Competition Levels

Our teams compete locally, regionally and across the country.  We have offerings for players of every ability and will always believe in the potential for players to grow and develop into GREAT volleyball players.

COMPLETE ATHLETE

Our training engages athletes: Mentally, Athletically, Spiritually, Sociall.  We are committed to developing our athletes both on and off the courts and all teams participate in a community service project every season.
